Hi, I'm Sarah!

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are struggling to navigate emotional challenges, I would be honored to support you. With compassion and empathy, I will listen to your story, help you identify meaningful goals, and assist you in taking steps toward positive change. At My Story Counseling, I believe your story matters—and you deserve a safe space to explore where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to go next.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, career or higher-education-related stress, and those who are seeking to understand and break generational patterns. I believe that each person’s experiences and needs are unique, and I tailor therapy to meet you where you are. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness. Together, we can explore thought and behavioral patterns, develop effective coping strategies, gain deeper insight and clarity, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Sometimes, moving forward means giving yourself permission to write a new chapter. Whether you are working through a difficult season, navigating a major transition, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, therapy can be an opportunity to reflect on the chapters that have shaped you while creating a path forward that feels more aligned with who you are.

No matter what you may be going through, you do not have to navigate your story alone. At My Story Counseling, I am here to walk alongside you as you work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and a life that feels more authentically yours. Together, we can explore your story, turn the page when you’re ready, and begin writing your next chapter.
